Our History
MJX Events and Entertainment was developed from our founders' desire to keep the good times coming, with regularity. Xavier experienced the beauty of the partying atmosphere in college and began DJing in Jackson, MS in 2007. Janna, a purveyor of social experiences in her own right, began developing management skills as a manager of her father's business while pursuing dual engineering degrees. Some time later, music and social gatherings brought Xavier and Janna together in Southwest Florida. From their union, Maxwell and Miriam were born, hence the MJX in the company title. As the story continues, MJX Events and Entertainment remains a family company, a brand built to create momentous occasions.
Our Philosophy
Parties, weddings, and other social gatherings are each significant moments in time. With careful planning and attention to detail, an event lasting a couple of hours can create beautiful memories that endure for a lifetime. Music and social gatherings brought founders Xavier and Janna together. So, we understand the impact that a well-timed tune can have in the midst of a party. The same is true for the company Christmas party and your Dad's 50th birthday party. Share with us your vision and we will enjoy helping to bring it to light.
